How to stay on track for the holiday
- Going out with friends and coworkers and family
- Find out the place you are going and look at the menu
- Think a protein and veggies
- Eat something before you go
- Bring a snack with you
- Look at alterative drinks (alcohol) What are the best option
- How to handle Christmas parties
- Don’t go or participate
- Bring something to the party that is low carb /keto friendly
- Eat before for you go to help curb your appetite
- Bring your own alcohol / Learn about things that are better chooses
- Christmas at home
- Again think about party platters that are meat and cheeses
- Plan dinner around proteins (Meats, Fish, etc) as they will fill you up and help from snacking
- Make keto friendly foods like a keto Lasagna, Chicken parm, Cordon blu, bacon cheese burger cass etc
- Make keto friendly snacks that the whole family will like (cheese cake. Cookies etc)
- Eat a good breakfast so not as hungry during the day
- Plan to minimis non keto foods. 1 spoon of the potatos, or half of twice baked half the size of the pie
- New Year Eve
- Remember that on keto its easier to get intoxicated
- Start later in the evening like at 11pm
- So drink less or at all
- Eat lots of proteins
- Drink things with Seltzer water in them (Tonic water is bad)
