Sally’s masarap na masarap Chicken Curry
This a a yummy low carb dish then you will love when you try it. Its super yummy and masarap for sure. Asawa ko loving sarap curry chicken
Ingredients
1 Ginger cut into strips
6 Garlic cloves Minced
1 Small white onion Mined
3 TBSP butter (Can use Olive or avocado oil)
Dash Black Pepper / Salt
4.5 Lbs Chicken (we are using legs and breast)
1 tsp Cayenne pepper
2 Small carrots (about 2 cups)
2 cups Bell Pepper cut into bite size pieces
1 TBSP Turmeric
1 can coconut milk
½ cup heavy whipping cream (optional coconut cream if dairy free)
Direction
- Cut up the ginger / Mince the garlic and onion, put each one in a separate bowl
- Heat sautéing pan over med heat and put in on med heat and add the butter (avocado oil optional)
- Add the ginger and cook until it browns
- Add the onion and sauté for a minute or two
- Add the garlic after (don’t add to soon or it will over cook)
- Add the chicken and a dash of salt and black pepper
- Need to cook for about 30 minutes (after 10 check to see if you need to add water or chicken both, just add a little bit)
- After 20 more min (50 min mark) add the coconut milk and heavy cream add carrots / turmeric powder / Cayenne pepper and stir until completely mixed
- Turn to low heat and cook additional 10 minutes
- Add the bell pepper and cook additional 5 min on low heat
